Guitar Notes by Mary Amato

Over the break I read a sweet book called Guitar Notes by Mary Amato.  For those of you who loved Fault in Our Stars, you will love this one too.

Basically, it is about two high school students, Lyla and Tripp, who are very different.  Lyla is Miss Perfect, and Tripp has a bad attitude.  Tripp and Lyle both sign up for a practice room during their lunch period.  Lyla has the room on even days, and Tripp has the room on odd days.  Soon, the students begin exchanging notes and connecting through music.  Something happens that could change all of that....

I give this book 4 out of 5 stars.
